Visiting Speech-Language Therapist

Ms. Lok is a dedicated speech-language therapist with a Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Science with Honours from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). As a member of the Malaysian Association of Speech and Hearing (MASH), she brings over 17 years of professional experience to her practice. She spent 8 years in private hospitals in Kuala Lumpur before transitioning to Early Intervention Centre settings, where she has been working for almost 9 years. With a focus on evidence-based and family-centered intervention, Ms. Lok specializes in supporting neurodiverse children. She is passionate about empowering parents, as she believes they play a pivotal role in their child’s development. To support this, she also coaches parents through workshops and the Hanen 1-1 Way program aimed at equipping families with practical strategies to foster their child's communication development at home and in daily life.
